Jeff Turk, Esq

Jeffrey Turk, Esq.

Attorney Turk is widely recognized as a leading expert in landlord-tenant law, representing many of the country’s largest commercial and residential landlords, as well as several housing authorities. He has written extensively and lectured on both the national and local levels on residential and commercial landlord-tenant law, lead paint, mold litigation, reasonable accommodation requirements, bedbug issues, fair housing, residential evictions and property management.

Although his primary focus is landlord-tenant law, Attorney Turk also represents cooperative clients and handles civil litigation cases.

He is an active member of several real estate trade associations, previously serving on their Boards. He is also local counsel to the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and the National Apartment Association.

Caitlin P. Milone, Esq.

Attorney Milone is a partner in the firm’s Landlord/Tenant Department, focusing on the representation of residential landlords and housing authorities. Caitlin assists and advises landlords and property managers in all aspects of their operations including lease drafting, summary process actions, fair housing, and general representation.

Caitlin’s prior experience includes the representation of commercial lending institutions in real estate litigation, complex title litigation and summary process matters. She has also represented indigent clients in criminal and family law matters.

David Levinson, Esq.

Attorney Levinson is a Senior Associate and experienced litigator in the firm’s Landlord/Tenant and Civil Litigation Department.  He advises both commercial and residential landlords and property managers in all aspects of their operations including summary process actions, civil complaints, fair housing, and litigation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, David practiced criminal defense, representing clients in the District, Superior and Appellate Courts throughout Massachusetts.

Attorney White is a Senior Associate and experienced litigator in the firm’s Landlord/Tenant and Civil Litigation Departments.  He advises commercial and residential landlords and property managers in all aspects of their operations, including summary process actions, fair housing, general representation, and litigation matters.  George has been practicing law since 1995 and has extensive experience in civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, George practiced civil litigation representing insurers and their insureds in State and Federal Courts throughout Massachusetts.    George is a native of New Hampshire and currently resides on the South Shore.

Jacqueline Gaitan, Esq.-staff

Jacqueline Gaitan, Esq.

Attorney Gaitan is an associate in the firm’s Landlord/Tenant Department. She advises landlords and property managers in all aspects of property management operations, including summary process actions, civil complaints, and general representation.

For the past seven years, Attorney Gaitan has specialized in settlement negotiation for bodily injury and personal liability cases representing both individuals and various insurance companies. Prior to this, Attorney Gaitan interned at HUD, fielding fair housing complaints from tenants and prospective tenants.

Outside of work, Attorney Gaitan is passionate about animal rescue and child advocacy.

Jaclyn M. Martin, Esq.-staff

Jaclyn M. Martin, Esq.

Jaclyn has been licensed as an attorney since 2015. She brings with her a unique perspective with over ten years of experience working in public housing agencies in a number of roles, including as an Executive Director for five years.  These positions required Jaclyn to administer all phases of state and federal public housing, voucher programs, and management agreements. She is keenly aware of the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of property managers, as well as the challenges they face. Jaclyn’s unique experience allows her to provide valuable legal advice within the firm’s Public Housing and Landlord departments.

Attorney Tertan is an associate in the firm’s Landlord/Tenant Department. He advises landlords and property managers in all aspects of their operations, including summary process actions, civil complaints, fair housing, and litigation matters.

Prior to joining the firm, John was a Senior Attorney with a Braintree-based firm that primarily prosecuted healthcare fraud under the False Claims Act/Whistleblower law and the federal RICO Act. John’s case and courtroom experience includes RICO actions, False Claims Act cases, fraud, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, declaratory judgment actions, insurance coverage, No-Fault litigation, and consumer protection actions.
